One of the first things I wanted to do when I became a Minneapolis boudoir photographer, was to create a safe space for my people to experience this transformative experience. Enter: studio sessions. I spent many, many, MANY late nights and long afternoons building this space from scratch. From painstakingly scraping popcorn ceilings off, to carefully purchasing all the pieces to complete the vibe… it’s my Home Base in the truest sense of the word.
This last year, I introduced Creative Sessions as well, where we venture out of the studio and document you in a meaningful or artistic location. While I LOVE these sessions, (and I think I always will)… the sessions back in my little inclusive space will always be near + dear to me.
When you book a Studio Session with me, you are also getting access to my client closet! It lives at the studio, and I have several pieces you can choose from. It’s my goal to have the client closet be as inclusive and accepting as possible, so I have many different sizes from XS to 4X. And we’ve got all different brands from Urban Outfitters to Fenty!
I also have a little hair and makeup space, so if you choose to add that onto your session – the makeup artist can meet you there and you can easily transition from prep to photo shoot. All in one space.
Here are some shots from a recent session in the studio!
Side note: I’m forever obsessed with the lighting in my studio sessions. We can have the most beautiful balanced tones and then also play with light and shadow. YES PLEASE.
