Mary Castillo couples boudoir sessions are the best kind of different. That’s just a fact. They are romantic and intimate and they can even deepen your connection!

Instead of coming to my Minneapolis boudoir studio, we decided that photographing them in their space would create some magic images. People are always most comfortable in their own homes & when they told me about the greenery, the warm light and the vibes? I was even more convinced.

The way I approach couples boudoir is a little different than others you may have seen. I like to focus on their connection. For example, the way they naturally fall into each others arms or the ways they sneak kisses when they’re in their own little world.

These folks are friends of mine and they ended up being the perfect session to get me back on the couples boudoir photographer horse. I almost forgot how much I love them. With two people, you get to photograph not only the connection between the two of them but also you get to tell stories. These photos could easily be of a couple’s slow Sunday afternoon. They cuddle and listen to music, take a nap, & I get to be the fly on the wall catching it all.
