This session was one for the books. It was allllll about celebrating the motherhood era!

From the moment this hot mama walked into the studio, I knew we were about to create something really special. Not just amazing images (although, of course, that too) but a special experience. To reclaim her body. To reconnect with her sensuality. To celebrate every inch of the woman she’s become after bringing life into this world. And now I am also a mom, I truly understand how valuabe experiences like this are for those of us who are parents.

And I was proud of this client, because she went all in for this day. She booked our Diamond Collection —the full experience. This means: professional hair and makeup, a full day of pampering, and multiple outfit changes that showed off every side of her. The bold, the soft, the playful, the powerful. We got to actually capture this time in life. Plus, she gets her next session fee waived! Which is such a great opportunity because boudoir can be so addicting, and she can’t wait to come back already!

But we truly got to practice celebrating the motherhood era this day – in all its beauty!

We started with a black lace bodysuit. A timeless staple! It’s so moody, but also so elegant. Then came the emerald satin set for a subtle pop of color. It was rich, regal, and completely flattering on her. Here’s a similar one here, if you want one for yourself! After that? A white lace set of lingerie paired with red lace-up heels. Ummmm YES PLEASE. That made her own the studio like the powerhouse she is. And finally, we wrapped the day with the ever-popular sheet set. Bringing it back to center, where she truly is the magic.

I know as much as the next mother… after having babies, your body can feel like it’s no longer yours. This session was about stepping into a new normal and making it yours. And honestly? She freaking glowed during our shoot. Definition of Hot Mom.
