Are you ready for an amazing session with a cozy, lived-in look?? I literally can’t wait to share this with you!
Lindsey is another local boudoir photographer here in the cities, we decided to do a trade! She also took some photos of me in my space! As a Minneapolis boudoir photographer, it’s always important to step back in front of the camera as often as I can. And this was a cool experience to see myself from someone else’s point of view. And such an honor to photograph her as well.
Lindsey really let me take the wheels into leaning a little more into her masculine side with her look, but feminine posing! I loved incorporating both genders like this, and really playing artistically with this session.
We pivoted to the next cozy, lived-in look – the classic staple of Calvin Klein. We paired it with an oversized cropped hoodie and the vibes were VIBING. I’ve said it before, but I love the look of a lazy, sleep-in weekend at home. There’s something so authentic and real about this look, and I’m here for it.
We threw off the hoodie for a few topless shots. A favorite look in the studio! A lot of my clients opt for topless or “just the sheets” images at the end of their session. It’s definitely a favorite! Even if you walk into the session thinking you won’t want to have any nude images, a lot of people end up feeling really comfortable and wanting to document themselves that way. (But it’s also okay if you don’t!!)
The last look was a t-shirt with big white panties. And we both agreed that the look is coming back in style, because when styled right – it can look so cool and editorial. 10/10 recommend trying it!
