This styled shoot at Grandpa’s Pool House was SO much freaking fun to shoot.
The location was the perfect vibe for the 70s retro vibe we were going for. We had several outfits picked out for the model, and we started with an orange two piece with cowboy hat & boots. The room was full of vintage details & murals that created the coolest background.
After that we shot on a vintage stationary bike in the living room in front of wood paneled walls. (Blast from the past!) And for that look we went with a purple lace cutout bodysuit and old Hollywood style robe. We also used oversized sunglasses as accessories for each outfits because it’s a VIBE and I’m here for it.
The last piece of lingerie was a black striped sheer bodysuit with shiny black heels, which I had the model wear on a white couch to create clean lines and contrast.
I couldn’t get over this shoot while editing. Sometimes you just shoot things for fun and it’s such a creative refresh. As a Minnesota boudoir photographer, I love to schedule these styled shoots because it helps me refuel and try new ideas/poses/lighting etc.
I’ll be shooting at Grandpa’s Pool House again this Spring and I’m already looking forward to it. In the meantime, enjoy! Scroll to the bottoms to see all the looks & outfits!
