I love shooting bridal boudoir, and this day was no exception.

When you think of bridal lingerie – you probably think of white outfits, maybe with a veil, yeah?

While that is an amazing option…it can be hard to come up with ideas outside of that. So here is some advice that you’ll see modeled in the shoot below:

Bring Sentimental Items:

If your fiancé has a favorite shirt or item that is personal to them, feel free to bring it! It could even be a favorite shirt they love to see YOU wear. It will add a personal detail to your album that will really make it stand out.

You Don’t Have to Wear Only White:

Don’t feel limited in your color scheme! While white is always a great option for bridal lingerie, it doesn’t have to be the only one. Does your fiancé have a favorite color? Or maybe you just love the sexy black look. Have fun and play around with it! This client wore a beautiful black two piece lace garter set, like this one here.

There are so many white lingerie options:

There are endless options when it comes to white lingerie. Shop around and see which ones you like the most. This client chose a corset-like bralette with matching lace underwear, and it looked flawless. You could also do a bodysuit! Or be topless with a white thong & wear a veil. Whatever makes you feel the sexiest as a bride!

Go without!

You can also make the choice to have some images with just the sheet/nude. If you want those to be for your fiancé’s eyes only – you can make sure they stay private! But nudes can be a fun way to spice up your album even more for their gift.
